This full-service hotel and convention center were part of the solution to San Angelo’s need for lodging and meeting space. Maverick provided project management, urban planning, an onsite drainage report, and grading, drainage and paving. Utility plans for water and sewer were developed along with a SWPPP.
Maverick served as the Civil Engineering of Record on this 35,600 square foot Midland hotel project, coordinating with surveyors and TXDOT for the site along Interstate 20. We provided an onsite drainage report, plans for grading, drainage and paving, utility plans for water & sewer, and a SWPPP. Maverick also secured a landscape architect for landscape and irrigation plans.
For this 70-room hotel, Maverick had to prepare an offsite water plan and profile design for 2,800 linear feet of 12” water line extended from Midland’s main line onto the site. Our team also completed a subdivision plat in order to separate the 5.7-acre site at Interstate 20 and Lamesa Road into four lots.
Maverick procured a surveyor to provide a title survey for this site, located within Gateway Retail Center at Business Highway 20 and Loop 250 in Midland. Our engineers then developed construction documents for utilities, grading, drainage, paving, landscape, and a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan. The hotel will provide 62 rooms.
Located just to the north of Gateway Plaza and the Cinergy Cinemas entertainment complex, this Four Points by Sheraton was an attractive addition to the hospitality options in Midland. With its accessibility and proximity to both greater Midland and Odessa, it was a choice location for development. For this project Maverick was contracted to provide Drainage Analysis, Landscape, Grading, Paving, and Utility Plans, the construction Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, and overall Project Management for the development.
